Support of the German development cooperation agency Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft to launch the comprehensive training programme “Information Technology for African Business” (IT@AB) in 5 South African countries.

Support of the southern African cross-border knowledge network on environmental management – SANTREN – to produce authentic content for scientific and training purposes on the Internet.
1999
Conceptualization of the applications for the Digital Library for 40 German universities.
1996 and 1997
Introduction of eLearning to South-Korea through two high-level conferences with more than 500 participants in Seoul and some experts from Germany linked to the conference via satellite.
Supporting the establishment of Germany’s first commercially viable eUniversity, the “Tele-Akademie Furtwangen“, delivering from the Black Forest state of the art Internet based courses continually.
1994
Organization and broadcasting of an ICT R&D conference in Moscow, Russia, with multiple satellite links and multiple interactive sites across Europe involving two Telecom operators. The conference and the interaction with experts in multiple locations was broadcasted live by ARTE, Europe’s cultural TV channel in Strasbourg, France.
1991 to 1995
Management of one of the largest field test for advanced telecommunication based training in seven European countries with more than 15 large corporations and about 1500 learners involved. 50% of the funding for this US$ 10 million large scale action-research project came from the European Commission R&D programme DELTA with additional resources coming from “Public Private Partnerships” within the project.
